Professional Qualifications
- Ability to develop, maintain, and administer Windows Server 2008 systems, including systems in a VMware environment.
- Must have heavy network “hands on” technical experience (LAN/WAN)
- Experience with Cisco switches/routers.
- Experience with Cisco Unified Wireless deployments.
- Experience with Site-to-Site VPN’s .
- Knowledge of structured cable system design and implementations.
- Knowledge of fiber systems utilizing.
- Kowledge of Firewall Concepts.
- Knowledge of fiber systems utilizing.
- Possess a thorough knowledge of IT networking systems including the ability to install, maintain, and program network switch devices, routers, firewalls.
- Be able to evaluate and diagnose network LAN/WAN systems.
- Provide 24/7 emergency response for all network infrastructure systems including call duty on a frequent basis.
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks that often have competing agendas and timelines.
- Organized and Professional demeanor.
- Being able to follow supervisor’s instructions.
- Customer service oriented aptitude, and solid communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to manage day to day IT operations. Ensuring issues are handled in an effective manner that best utilizes the resources of the department.
- 5 years of experience working within an IT Dept.
