It is vital during the vendor engagement process to define the guidelines that vendors must adhere too. Not having standards can lead to unnecessary headaches for both the customer and the vendor during the tool bring up process. I2DS engages with the vendors on the customer’s behalf during the vendor engagement process and institutes an MES Standards document that defines the customer’s requirements for software, hardware, documentation, and various other items. This helps the customer take the guess work out and allows them to focus on the more critical issues.
